Upgrade IOS-XE from 03.02.02.SE to latest version?

Can I upgrade IOS-XE 03.02.02.SE to latest version 16.12.08?

You can but why not upgrade to the latest 3.6.10. 

3.X.X is far more stable than any 16.X.X.

Direct upgrade to 16.12.X is supported, however, I want to pass on a word of caution:  Upgrade to 3.6.10 is better than upgrading to 16.X.X in regards to stability.
