Upgrading software images

Hi All,

I have around twenty 6506(SUP1A) switches having CatOS version 7.4(2). But the FW and HW versions are not same on all of them, some of them shows HW 7.4 and some as 7.1. Same for FW, some shows 5.3(2) and some 5.3(1). Can I upgrade HW and FW software on the Switches? If yes then how, please refer any related documents. TIA

Hi Mahmoud,

Thanks for the useful link,but it only mentions how to upgrade the main SW image. I was also looking for upgrading the FW and HW images, if they can be upgraded. TIA
