Why when connecting two Cisco SF 300-28 ports together via the LINK/ACT ports, will they not pass VLAN traffic?

What is a LINK/ACT port and why are the different from a normal port?

Assuming you have setup the same vlans on both switches, you just need to connect them together via a trunk port and ensure the vlans are tagged both sides. Native (untagged/pvid) needs to be the same both sides also.

Yes I have all the VLAN setup on both switches correctly.

The Link/Act ports are ports 25/26 on the switch....

If I use any other port to trunk between the switches it works without any issues. I am just interested to know why 25/26 won't work

Both ports are uplinks they can not work together u need normal port with a link/act port

Well link/act is an uplink used to connect to higher layers in the network but u still can connect link/act in one end and anormal port in the other , hope this was helpful

No, there is no link/act port, that labelling just refers to the link/activity LEDs.
