Hi Friends,
I just want to ask help regarding our deployment which will require a Virtual IP setup for Server Load Balancing (SLB) of two web proxies. The scenario is that the client segment which will use the proxies are on a different Vlan from the Web Proxies. The connection between the client and the proxies are done via "IP Route" on the layer 3 switch. Now I need to configure Server Load Balancing on the L3 Cisco Core Switch to define a Virtual IP that will represent the two Real Web Proxies in order to do the Load Balancing and Failover of the servers.
Kindly see configuration needed on the L3 Core Switch to achieve below.
1. Health monitor check for both servers to see if both are proxy are up or if is down so that there will be a failover.
2. Need to setup a round robin load balancing for both server which will be accessed by the client via Virtual IP.
Attached is a network diagram for details. Appreciate any help from you.
Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon
Just have a look at the cisco website - there you'll find a lot of documentation and sample configurations (for instance: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/modules/ps2706/products_configuration_example09186a0080094066.shtml)
