I have a Nexus 7k, with OS 6.2 (14). I am unable to change the spanning-tree priority for VLAN range 4048-4093, which is now set to other than default value.

spanning-tree vlan 4048-4093 priority 28672

but now i am unable to change any value.

What is the error message you get when you try to change the value?

The following command was given during the older OS version, and is still present.

spanning-tree vlan 4048-4093 priority 28672

but now i need to change the priority for all vlans on primary switch. but following error is given if these commands are run:

N7K-1(config)# spanning-tree vlan ?
  <1-3967>  Vlan range, Example: 1,3-5,7,9-11

N7K-1(config)# spanning-tree vlan 4048-4093 ?
                                                    ^
invalid vlans (reserved values) at '^' marker.

but after following command, there is no error, and it accepts the command, but still the value for reserved vlans (4048-4093) is not changed at all.

N7K-1(config)# spanning-tree vlan 200-800, 4048-4093 priority 4096

N7K-1(config)#

I have also tried with individual vlans from this range, but still same results.
