vLAN and LACP

                   Hi everyone,

I want a 24 port switch that can do the below functions:

• vLAN and LACP support

• Inter vLAN routing

should i go for a multilayer switch ws-c3750x switches or ws-c2960 should be alright?

please suggest.

Hi,

2960 is mostly layer-2 with support for static routing.  If you want to run any routing protocols use 3750X.

They both support LACP, vlan, stacking etc..

should i go for the IP base or IP service IOS?

i.e

WS-C3750X-24T-S(IP Base)

OR

WS-C3750X-24T-E (IP Service)

which would be a perfect match?

That depends on your need and budget.  If you have the budget go with IP services license.  It will give everything, including BGP,   OSPF, VRF, PBR, etc..  IP base gives you everything else, but not these features.
