Vlan question

Hi Guys,

We just purchased 2 Nexus 3064T switches for our iscsi network. These switches will be on a dedicated iscsi network. We only need one vlan. Is it okay to have all the ports in vlan 1 for our iscsi devices or should i create a second vlan for the iscsi devices?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

It is a good practice not to use vlan 1 at all.  Use a different vlan for your iscsi traffic.
