VPC BUG NX-OS 6.1???

Hello all

I have Core of 2 x 7K and an aggregation layer of 2 x 5K.

All are fully meshed with peer link between each 7K and peer link between each 5K.

I have the 5k's having one vpc to both 7K's and vice versa. Everything is LACP.

The issue I am having is that I tried to change the system ID on on both 5K's, which worked and the config took it, but, they never recovered, siting that they could not ping each other on the peer-keepalive.

The peer keepalive is an svi and is set to management and is also a dual-active exclude interface. Both SVI's on both 5K's are up BUT, vlan 901 can not get anywhere as all of the northbound port-channels ports are now suspended. When I try to shut no shut the interface, they still do not come up.

I have rebooted both 5k's but to no avail, the only thing that I know works is to remove the vpc config (including the domain) and re-apply it.

Does anyone have any ideas?????

Thanks in advance

Anthony

Please see attached for some configs. I have pasted both vpc configs, but the rest are all identical so have just sent one side.

Also to note.. just to be clear, each 5K has a total of 4 x 10G ports. 2 go to one 7K and 2 to the other.

I have also just tried removing and re-adding the vpc config to each of the 5K's and it iactually isnt working All port channels are staying shut down or suspended.
