VPC log messages

Hello everyone,

I have a question about vpc.

I wonder why the vpc down log does not occur when the port is down even though there is one vpc port member.

I can see the port down log message and the port-channel down log message but no vpc down log message.... why?

how to make it to display the log messages???

or it does not occur because the peer is still alive and the device knows that the vpc is not dead yet by receiving the keepalive messages from its

peer device?

the product is nexus 7000.

please kindly reply for my question
