VS-S720-10G-3C Line Card compatibility

We have a pair of 6509 E Cat Switches and now we need to implement VSS.

We are planning to buy VS-S720-10G-3C to replace with the current SUP720-3B

So before purchasing we want to know if the current current line cards will be compatible with new supervisor engine, please see the attached

You should not have any issue with the 67xx series modules.  The only module you may have issue with is the 65xx series modules.

If we bought SUP2T supervisor engine, will those 67xx line cards be still compatible ?

Hi,

Yes, they should work with 2T. I recommend using 2T, as VS-Sup-720 is at lease 6 years old.

I was looking at  compatibility matrix for SUP2T, but I cannot the name of those 67xx line cards that I have,

As far as I know 6708-10GE isn't supported
