VSS quad sup compatibility

Hello, We are planning to move to quad sup setup and from the documentation it seems straight forward.

But I couldn't find any specifics on compatibility of Supervisor modules. May I know if the hw/fw version of sup matters?

I have below sups with same IOS but different hw/fw. Are they compatible t use as ICA/ICS and VSS active/Hot-standby?

Sup 1

hw:- 3.2   fw:- 8.5(4)

Sup 2

hw:- 3.1   fw:- 8.5(3)

Hi,

For VSS, you have to have Sup-720-VS or Sup-2T.  VSS is not possible with Sup-1 Sup-2, Sup-32.

Hi Reza, we have already running VSS setup with dual Sup VS-S720-10G. The aboe hw/fw versions are from current running VSS environment.
