WAP571E DHCP Question

Hello,

I was wondering if I was missing something. I am setting up a WAP571E and when I connect to it, it wont assign an ip to it. I would like to have it assign an ip range but can't find anywhere to put that in. It is assigned a static IP on isolated network with no active DHCP server.

Hi,

I don't think the WAP can be a DHCP server so it can assign IP to clients. You need a separate DHCP server or maybe use the controller as a DHCP server to assign IP to clients.
