Hi,
We still have some Cisco 3500XL PoE switches and I would like monitor fan, power supplies, temperature with SNMP but I can't find the right MIB.
A friend and me have looked in ftp://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/supportlists/wsc3500xl/wsc3500xl-supportlist.html but I can't find anything about monitoring the hardware using SNMP.
Does it has anyone who tell me how can I monitor the environment with SNMP please ?
Any answers will be appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi,
What software/application are you using to manage the devices.
I know for example SolarWinds can manage CPU, power supplies, FANs, etc... as long as the switch support SNMP and can communicate with the software. So, that is really the function of the software.

Hi,
I am using Centreon-Plugins to monitor the switch.
Any Nagios Plugin will work. I just need the OIDs to monitor the hardware.
I have no issue monitoring rtr2951, sw4948e... Its why I post a thread on the forum.
I asked the dev of Centreon-Plugins and he didn't know the answer...
Can you help me to identify the OID of the harware components on a Cisco 3500XL PoE please ?
Thanks.
