what os is the default on a 6500 sup?

I'm having a sup32 rma'd and tac can't tell me if I'll get CatOS or Native IOS on it. Has anyone else run into this situation?

By "default", if you don't specify it, TAC will send you CatOS.

thanks, its interesting, since I don't know too many places running catos and it seems Cisco would prefer customers to run native ios. I also heard catos is either eos or close it.

thanks again, that's exactly what happened, the first came catos, when continued to have problems with the rma, tac offered to send another sup32. I asked for native and they told me they could not load the native ios until the next day, even though I had 24x7x4 support. now i know better, too.
