Which switches can not auto detect cross-over or straight-through?

I was wondering which switch platforms have to use cross-over cables when switch-switch connections are made. Didn't find Cisco documentations about it.

I know newer Ethernet modules on 6500 can adjust the pins if the connection is directly to another switch port via a straight-through cable. So cross-over cable is not must to have.

Most of the fairly new switches will do automatic crossover when required, I cant' remember but from memory most of the switches running IOS (not CATos) will do it.
