why a router as a host without gateway can reach remote devices? please see topology

Hello,

host1 only has one single IP, no default gateway, no static route, no routing protocol, "no ip routing" is configured, why it can still access 1.1.1.1?

Hi,

Most likely the first router (r1) is configured with proxy arp.
