hello
i have following requirement.
Wired part of the network is already done.
CiSCO 2800 or 800 router connected to ethernet switch and pcs connected.
i want another 5 pcs connect to this LAN through wireless connection
distance between wired part and this new location is approximateley 200meters.
how can i do this using access points and repeters or any other methods?

You configure your switchport with a cisco aironet or compatible AP. you may need power-or you can run the AP over Power over Ethernet.
To cover the 200 meters-I would extend a smaller switch closer to the location-and then mount your APs to the wall. Then test. Does that answer your question?

The best way to do this would be to bridge the two locations (assuming they're buildings) using an Wireless-bridge. Then connecting the bridge to a wired solution at the new site. I'd probably avoid long-hauling WiFi from the individual PC's - it will be harder to support/troubleshoot when things go wrong.
Additionally, if you bridge the buildings and use managed switches on either side, you can also transmit VLANs across the WIFI bridge.
I've done MANY of these implementations over the years, so ask away if you need any help!
Thanks,
Sean Brown

Biggest question I'd like to ask are the following:
1. Do you have line-of-sight between point A and point B?
2. How many users are at the other building?
3. What kind of traffic does the other building have?

Whats your budget ? A couple of Aironet 1300's for the bridge and a 1100 for the AP would be sweet. You can configure the link as a trunk

check out http://unbt.com. They have some good point to point bridges that are very cost effective. I have used these in the past to connect building 2 miles apart. Very east to setup.
