WS-C2960X-48FPD-L - ports 37 to 48 are not working

I have replaced a WS-C2960X-48FPD-L switch on existing stack of 3 switches (all WS-C2960X-48FPD-L) wherein I noticed that last 12 ports are not working, did stack reboot and all without any luck.

All switches in the stack have same version of IOS c2960x-universalk9-mz.152-2.E5.bin.

I noticed a difference while compared to another stack having the same IOS that the problem stack has different bootloader version (15.0(2r)EX3) compared to the other stack bootloader version (15.2(3r)E1) that is working fine with same IOS. Though I am not sure if that is the issue.

Did anyone face such an issue and got a solution?

Hi,

Bootloader version mismatch should not cause this type of issue.  It maybe a problem with hardware if the last 12 ports are not working.  Try opening a ticket with TAC and have them look at the device.
