WS-C4500X-16SFP+ Integration using 10GB and 1GB

Hi Guys,

kindly assist with these clarification. Can i combine 10GB SFP on one end of Cisco 4500X switch and an 1GB at the Far end (remote site ) ?

Put in another way, can i uplink a 10GB SFP from Cisco 4500X switch to a 1GB Port on a C 2960 Switch ?

If the response is in the Negative, what is the best practice installation procedure. ?

Not going to work.

Lowest common denominator is SFP/1 Gbps therefore use SFP at both ends.
