Ws-g5484 to 100-fx

I have 1 site which is using Ws-G5484 plugged into WS-C3550-24SMI fiber connection which are connecting back to another WS-C2950C-24 switch.Can it work?

I'm afraid it's impossible. Not only because of the cable/connector. The big problem is that 3550 Gigabit ports only support 1000Mbps speed (not 10/100/1000) that doesn't match with 100Mbps speed in 2950.

What if I adjust the gigabits ports to 100mbps inorder to match the speed on the other side.

Connector I had terminated correctly.

That's what I mean: You can NOT force gigabit port to 100 Mbps speed. They only support 1000 Mbps.
