x2 + xenpack

This may be a dumb question but I have not worked with these modules before...

I have 2 Core 6500 Sup 720's connecting to 2 Access 6500 Sup 32 via 10 gig.

On the Core I have the X2...on the Access I have the Xenpack. Is this a one to one relationship? Meaning that for every x2 module you have on one side you need a xenpack module on the other for the connection?

Hello,

X2 optics are only supported on 6708-10Ge module. So if you have 6708 on 6509-Sup720 at core with X2 optics and Xenpack at the access, it should work. If you have another module 6704-10GE it only supports Xenpack modules, so you have to use Xenpacks both at core and acecess in that case.
