there are three 3.5 mm mini-jack, 4-pin connectors for external microphones in Cisco Webex Codec Plus.
it can work with 3rd party microphones ?

I wish I had a clear answer but even a web search shows conflicting results. Best I can say is you can certainly try one, however it may seem to lose the mute function that is on the Cisco mics. Also you may need to buy additional products to support it such s a pigtail adapter and a phantom power injector. Not the right codec, but some valuable information:

This document refers to both the Webex Room Kit Plus and the Codec Plus based devices. The Room Kit Plus is a Codec Plus based device. For the 3.5 mm connector, you will need the *Shure VCC3 Video Conference Cable Kit* then rest of the Shure Microflex system. According to the documentation the mute capability can be used with the Shure microphones, which you would not get with most other 3rd party microphones.
