Hi,
my customer is looking for a small business Video Conference solution and i'm thinking about Cisco TelePresence SX20. My question is maybe too simple but i didn't found an answer over the web.
It's possible to setup a simple point-to-point Video Conference between 2 SX20 Endpoints without a Call Control Device (eg: CUCM, VCS) ? I'm planning to include Conferencing and Call Control Devices when the Endpoints will grow but, at the moment, i need only to have Audio\Video communications between 2 sites and try to reduce costs.
Thank you.

Hello Roberto -
Yes, it is possible, the SX20 is capable of both H323 and SIP calls, you would want to use H323 for calls as it doesn't require any call control server. However, you'll need to make sure all relevant H323 ports are open between the two endpoints you'd like to connect.
Here are some discussion within the forums that can help.

There is some slight configuration to make it work as a standalone H323 endpoint, most notably the H323 CallSetup Mode in the endpoints configuration needs to be set to Direct, and DefaultCall Protocl will need to be set to H323.
I'd recommend taking a look at the SX20 admin guide for more information.
