Changing Expressway certs with new CSR without breaking current communication.

We have a requirement that the expressway certs need to be uploaded again with new key length. I want to generate a new CSR for the same but also want to make sure generating the new CSR wont break anything till signed certs are back, as servers are in production and working fine with current certs. Does generating new CSR breaks the communication as a new private key is generated ?

Hello,

Generating a CSR creates a private key, but it does not replace the existing one, until the certificate you obtain from the CSR is installed to the server. You should have no issues, and the communication should not experience any issues caused by this process.

I bet you already installed the new certificate, so this may not be of great help at this time. LOL.
