Cisco Meeting Management - Doesn't discover active meetings

Just staged the server and much to my dismay the CMM cannot detect any active meetings on CMS.

I assume that CMM relies on the CDR records being sent to it from the Call Bridge to get a grip on what is going on in the CMS server.  I did a detailed trace and I am receiving CDR records and no other obvious errors.

What could I have missed ?

You're correct, CMM relies on CDR records from CMS to monitor conferences, which is why CMM is configured as a CDR receiver on CMS.

Did you enter the address of CMM as a CDR receiver under Settings > Network > CDR before you added the Call Bridges?

Verify that CMS has CMM as listed CDR receiver, and make sure the certificate for the CDR configuration in CMM is correct.

Hello Patrick,

first of all thanks for your explanation of connection settings between CMS and CMM.

I've populated the address of CMM as a CDR receiver in CMM menu, then I've restarted CMM and added CallBridge address.

After that I see that in CMS settings a string for connection appeared in CDR Receiver URI 1.

But in logs I have an error: Connection to CDR receiver "https://cmm_hostname/meetings/cdr/30/?token=xxxxx" failed (connect failure).

What could be the reason for this error?

Thanks in advance.

I've never seen that error before.
On the CDR tab, did you try both IP and FQDN?
Do you have a certificate added to CMM that includes all intermediate and root CAs?

Yes, I tryed both IP and FQDN.

If I check this URL in browser, I receive HTTP Response 405 - it's confusing.

Patrick, could you please check your CDR URL - does it look like my URL in previous post?

Now we're using self-signed certificates as CMS and CMM are deployed in test environment, but I've sent request for signed certs to our CA admins.

I get the same 405 error when I try to access the site using a web browser.
My CDR address is similar, only difference is /meetings/cdr/1/?token, where I have a 1 and you have a 30.

Thank you, Patrick,

finally, I got it working: it was a network issue between CMS and CMM.

Now it works like a charm.

Hi , i have the same problem , im only confused about certificates. Can you explain me better what i need. My confusion is because CMM dont have any way to generate a csr , so , without it , what i have to sign to CA?

apply certificate chain?     I have to upload root CA? callbridge certificate?

upload the certificate key? ???
