Cisco SX20 Quick Set Telepresence first time connection

Hi all,

I have a Cisco SX20 Quick Set Telepresence, that I just unpacked, installed physically and configured the IP address.

I'm certain that I'm missing some part of the initial configuration, because although the system is physically connected through the network to another Video Conference system (SONY PCS-XG55, this Sony system works fine we had it for a long time now), when I make a call from the SX20 it doesn't connect, instead almost immediately stops the call processand it doesn't say anything on the screen. If I check the log, I find so much information that I'm not really sure what is useful and what is not.

Just to give you a hint I found this that could be useful: "MC ERROR: TransactionActionStorage::removeAction no match for Disconnect callstackid"

Additionally in the troubleshooting page using the web connection to the Cisco SX20 system I get the following error: 

“WARNING: Default Call Protocol

The default call protocol is set to H323, but system is not registered on that protocol. The system may not be able to make any calls. Please either change the default call protocol, verify that the protocol is enabled, or verify the H323 configuration”.

Any ideas as to what am I missing will be appreciated.

Try This . . . 

Navigate to ---> H323 Profile [1..1] CallSetup Mode

The H.323 Call Setup Mode defines whether to use a Gatekeeper or Direct calling when

establishing H323 calls.

NOTE: Direct H.323 calls can be made even though the H.323 Call Setup Mode is set to

Gatekeeper.

Requires user role: ADMIN

Value space: <Direct/Gatekeeper>

Direct: An IP address must be used when dialing in order to make the H323 call.

Gatekeeper: The system will use a Gatekeeper to make a H.323 call. When selecting this

option the H323 Profile Gatekeeper Address and H323 Profile Gatekeeper Discovery

settings must also be configured
