Is there a way to initially sign into the SX80 without having a DHCP port? I need to start the setup but as of right now the place that I'm working in does not have any active ports to plug into to.

You can give it a static IP address via the touch panel and direct connect a PC to it (give the PC a static IP on the same subnet) and once you do that you should be able to get to the web GUI and do everything else from there

I mean before I can even get to the splash screen on the TP you have the welcome screen that requires a DHCP port to read before you can even do anything. Cisco firmware tc 8

You can plug your laptop into Ethernet port 2 or 3 on the SX80, set your laptop to DHCP; then open a web browser and navigate to 169.254.1.1 to access the codec.
