Cisco TCS v5.3 clustering issue - database write issues

Hello - Our deployment involves clustering two tcs boxes. While we successfully created first node in the cluster with Backend integration into NAS and SQL we are having issues adding the second server to the cluster due to a database write operation failure at a certain step. Attached is a screenshot for reference. Error is 'writing data to data destination.....Tandberg.DatabaseTransfer.DatabaseDataDestination....'

From a database permission perspective, we have the highest permission granted and all the more the first server is successfully connected to the sql cluster. Looking at the logs, other write operations initiated during the second tcs node add into the cluster has succeeded. However this specific write operation has failed.

From a troubleshooting standpoint, broke the primary tcs node in the cluster couple of times and tried rebuilding the cluster. But that isn't fixing the issue.

Any input wold be highly appreciated

Thanks

SG.

Hi Srinath, I see the error indicating that the instance name is "Null" , it will return NULL if the instance name is the default instance, if the input is not valid, or error.

What you could try it to move back to local db, make proper backup of all the recordings and create new database instance with a name.

The retry clustering again.

Thanks for the response. We rolled back and created a newer sql instance and cluster creation after that became a breeze.

Thanks a million once again!
