Cisco TMS, WebEx, and new Outlook client

Hi, We switched from using the Meeting Server, TMS, and Jabber clients to WebEx meetings a few years ago.    Things have been working well with this setup until the new Outlook client was introduced.

We have a mix of Cisco IX 5000s and TP 50-inch screens.

TP/WebEx calls are scheduled through Outlook, and our TMS (15.9.0) schedules the meeting to our TP devices using the outbound WebEx SIP number.  TMS shows that the call is Externally Hosted with a Video Address.

If we do this same thing with the new Outlook client, TMS does not create the Externally Hosted / Video Address and TMS must be manually edited to be a Externally Hosted call.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your description of what you are trying to achieve and how your infrastructure is configured is difficult to understand as you say you were using TMS, but are now using Webex, but are also still trying to use TMS for conferencing when the two platforms are likely very different now and the platforms support different things.   If you can give us a better understanding of how/where all your devices are registered and how the calls between the two are configured, that would give us a better chance of assisting.

Please also note that the IX5000 (since 31 October 2024) and the older Telepresence units are obsolete and will no longer be supported.  As obsolete devices these should be considered for replacement with devices that are more current and supportable for any long-term production deployment.
