CMS app login not working

Hey,

When changing the Web bridge settings on CMS we are able to login using the Webrtc page and control my space settings.

When the same credentials are used in the Cisco Meeting App it does not work. We have tried from internal external and can't get it working.

When doing SRV lookups the port 5222 is open and we are able to resolve the SRV

Anybody else have a similar issue.

Hello,

I think it is mentioned in deployment guides and release notes as well-

Appendix 2: Unsupported Deployments

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config_guide/X8-11/Cisco-Meeting-Server-2-4-with-Cisco-Expressway-Deployment-Guide_X8-11-4.pdf

And under Cisco Meeting App with Expressway-E TURN Server

Hello,

Please give us more details about your deployment to understand the things better.

If you are using webRTC through expressway then the CMA is not supported.

Also for internally to work you need _xmpp-client SRV should be resolvable to you xmpp server.. If it is there please let me know what is the error you are getting when trying to login?

Thanks

Good Morning Anurag,

Well that answers my question then, we are currently using WebRTC through are Expressway and using Turn.

CMS is sitting internally, all connections hit our Expressway E and then the Expressway C.

Turn is configured on the CMS server.

I was not aware that CMA is not supported on WebRT using the Expressway. Do you have a link to this document. Thanks again for the response.
