Nothing to date has been announced regarding the EX90 EOL, suggest you contact your Cisco Account Manager to see if they can provide you any information.

I had a conversation with the APAC guys the other week on this exact topic.  There has not been any End-of-Sale, or End-of-Life announcement on the EX90 yet, and they indicated that there wasn't one in the near future either - although I wouldn't be surprised if they do go End of Sale soon, especially with the upcoming release of the CE8 software which will, as rumour has it, only be available on the newer endpoints (SX, MX, etc).

Given the push to migrate from VCS infrastructure to CUCM, the DX80 would be their preferred endpoint, and, if you're looking at purchasing (from my quick calculation) around the 6+ mark, it's more cost effective to buy a BE6K CUCM and DX80s than to get the same number of EX90s.

Something to note since Wayne brought up CE8, as he noted it's for the SX and MX endpoints only (SX10/20/80, MX200/300 G2, and MX700/800).  The TC software that the C/EX/MX/SX endpoints run is in maintenance mode, meaning you should only expect security and bug fixes from here on out.  With that said, I agree with Wayne, I wouldn't be surprised if they do go EOS sooner rather than later and honestly I don't know what they're waiting on.

My guess is that as it stands, the DX80 doesn't quite fill every nieche that the EX90 fills (TMS phonebooks and integration, 1st party handset option and of course desktop endopint for VCS only users).

To add a little to this in the interests of completeness - the DX80 running a recent release of CE8 can get its phonebooks from TMS, and be registered to a VCS.  So the only outstanding option on your post ozybonza1 is the handset option - and this is coming in a future software release (support for a Bluetooth handset anyway).  Lack of Multisite capability is also missing on the DX80 which will not be implemented in any future release.

For completeness in this thread, the EX90 has now been announced as going End-of-Sale on 2 August 2017.  See eos-eol-notice-c51-738544.
