I have developed a script used for managing goasted meeting rooms that uses a check-in process and timer to decline meetings where there are no -shows after 10 minutes. The script also asks users if they want to free up the room at the end of a meeting if it finishes early. The script saves around 80 hours a day in wasted time across our campus of around 100 rooms.
The next phase I would like to introduce, is one that utilises people presence to detect for meetings that are left running unattended. The main culprit being ad hoc meetings scheduled from the panel.
I have the people presence and 'decline' function working but there does not seem to be a way to send a command via the API / xCommand that declines the ad hoc booking. From the console, the only feedback I can see if that if I manually remove the ad hoc booking using the panel. I see a meeting ended message. There is no command show as to what removed the meeting.
Has anyone seen or had any luck in removing/ declining the ad hoc bookings using the API or xCommand?
Cheers,
Will

I still have this problem... Made worse by some devices not being able to keep in sysc with 365 calendar and ad hoc meetings get stuck on the device.
