Is there a way to enable a mic to always be activated, regardless of if the Codec is in a call and have the mute button function correctly. This is on a Codec Pro.
My scenario is that I have a room where we want to use the Cisco tabletop mic for recording purposes in addition to when on a call. So I was thinking that using the Audio Console, I would map the mic in to a new output group of one of the Speaker outs which would feed the local recorder. So during a call, it works as needed (And people can record locally if they want). Or if the room is being used for a regular meeting, not a video call and they want to record, they can hit record on the recorder and just unmute the mic.

In messing around, I somehow was able to get this working momentarily with the mic being powered and mute button functions, but have since not been able to replicate it. The audio console mapping works, but I can't find a way to activate the mic.
