h.323 proxy and h.323 security

Hi All,

In gatekeeper function in cisco ios, is there any security features that can authenticate the h.323 gateway?

In cisco's document for h.323 proxy and firewall config, the document just includ the alternatives that both gatekeeper and proxy place in inside network or both of them place in outside network. Can I place h.323 proxy in inside network and the gatekeeper in outside network?
