Help needed with Expressway Configuration

Hi,

I need to add following licenses on expressway (EXPWY-E-K9).

1. LIC-VCS-10+ - Video Comm Server 10 Add Non-traversal Network Calls

2. LIC-VCSE-5+ - Video Communication Server - 5 Traversal Calls

In datasheet it says N/A against these licenses. Can someone please suggest the solution to add these licenses.

What do you have, a VCS-Expressway, or are you searching for licenses for Expressway (Edge / Core)?

The VCS is the older style of video deployment, the Expressway is the newer CUCM only based setup.

The VCS had the LIC-VCS licenenses for Calls,

Expressway has: LIC-EXP-RMS

It's a new deployment.

I just wanted to make sure that in VCS, if we needed 10 non-traversal call licenses, we had a pack for that (LIC-VCS-10+) or for traversal calls (LIC-VCSE-5+).

But in expressway, I do not see separate part numbers for traversal/non-traversal calls. and secondly, is this license per session?

The licensing model is different, with the CUWL licensing you get the expressway for free.

Calls for clients registered to CUCM (so to say the local calls) are included and all traversal

calls would be the RMS licenses you need.

You always need RMS on the Expressway -E and -C.
