How to secure video conferencing - Tandberg Edge 95 MXP ?

Hi folks,

I have implemented Tandberg Edge 95 MXP for video conferencing and concerned about how to secure the conference calls. Is it okay if I allow any to any connectivity in firewall (so that any host on the internet can do vtc to the internal host and vice versa) ? Tandberg device is placed in DMZ with public IP. On the firewall, I allowed the ports for H.323 (inbound and outbound) which are mentioned in telepresence mxp series article from Cisco.

More concerned from security point of view. Please advise.

For security point of view, recommend to place MXP Endpoint behind firewall and use VCS Expressway if require public connectivity.

MXP Endpoint has reasonable security level but still open for range of ports for system management and also for conference call.

Also if you are looking for security on call, recommend for SIP call with TLS as call transport protocol (and enable encryption for call) for securing call management signal and also audio/video payload between far end.
