Interworking Altigen PBX with Cisco

Hello ,

Has anyone worked on getting a Altigen Alt Office 2 to interwork with the

cisco NMHDV12 Card.

Does the DNIS info get sent to the line if the controller is configured to

accept the line as a T1 or should it be a ISDN PRI T1 Interface.

I cant even get the card to talk to cisco.

The line does not even come up

Any help regarding this is greatly welcome

If any of you have doen this andhave a cheat sheet, it would be great if you can share it with me

You will need to find out what type of signaling the altigen is doing on the T1, is it CAS or ISDN(PRI)? If cas, is it e&m or loop-start, if PRI what switch type.

Once you know this, configure the cisco gateway to match what the altigen is doing.
