We are setting up a Centralized IPTV deployment with control server at core site / and broadcast servers at remote sites. All PC's that will host IP TV client software access the backbone via the switch on the back of 7960 Phone's , the phone's strip all Cos from PC data as it goes thorugh it. I am curious on what Cisco's stance is on supporting IPTV with phones used as switches for PC's ? Does Cisco say NO don't do this as QoS for voice is affected or do they support this with a recomend Qos strategy such as putting video voice on Same DSCP level as say voice traffic from ip Phone ??? Anyone else has this setup ??
