Hi,
We recently installed and configured an IX5000 codec on our CUCM running 10.5.1. The device works great, can do calls to VCS (on X8.6.1) registered devices, CTS1300 and TX9000 devices registered to the same CUCM without issues.
We then tried to call a IX5000 located in one of Cisco's own office, but the call doesn't go through with the following message (found in the Sysop logs of our IX):
2015-10-08 13:14:12: INFO Local user dialing SomeNumber@cisco.com 2015-10-08 13:14:28: ERROR Call ended due to video quality configuration mismatch (remote DN: SomeNumber) Call Statistics Registered to Call Control Manager : Yes Call Connected : No -- Audio -- IP Addr Src : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0 Dst : 0.0.0.0:0 Jitter Period : 10 Latency Avg : 0 Period : 0 Currently Active : No Statistics Left Center Right Legacy Presentation Audio Add-in Tx Media Type N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A Tx Bytes 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Call 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Period 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Packets 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Media Type N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A Rx Bytes 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Call 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Period 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Packets 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Packets Lost 0 0 0 0 0 Pkts % Call 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Pkts % Period 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Max Pkts % Period 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Rx Pkts Dup'd 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Pkts Late 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Pkts AuthFail 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Call 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Period 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Max Jitter/Call 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Max Jitter/Period 0 0 0 0 0 -- Video -- IP Addr Src : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0 Dst : 0.0.0.0:0 Jitter Period : 10 Latency Avg : 0 Period : 0 Currently Active : No Statistics Left Center Right Legacy Presentation (1 or 5 FPS) Presentation (30FPS) Tx Media Type N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A Tx Frames Per Second 60 60 60 30 0 0 Tx Bytes 0 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Call 0 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Period 0 0 0 0 0 0 Tx Packets 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Media Type N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A N/A Rx Frames Per Second 60 60 60 30 0 0 Rx Bytes 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Call 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Period 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Packets 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Packets Lost 0 0 0 0 0 0 Pkts % Call 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Pkts % Period 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Max Pkts % Period 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 0.0000 Rx Pkts Dup'd 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Pkts Late 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Pkts AuthFail 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Call 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Period 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Max Jitter/Call 0 0 0 0 0 0 Rx Max Jitter/Period 0 0 0 0 0 0 -- Audio Add-in -- IP Addr Src : xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:0 Dst : 0.0.0.0:0 Jitter Period : 10 Latency Avg : N/A Period : N/A Currently Active : No Statistics Center Tx Media Type N/A Tx Bytes 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Call 0 Tx Bit Rate Per Period 0 Tx Packets 0 Rx Media Type N/A Rx Bytes 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Call 0 Rx Bit Rate Per Period 0 Rx Packets 0 Rx Packets Lost 0 Pkts % Call 0.0000 Pkts % Period 0.0000 Max Pkts % Period 0.0000 Rx Pkts Dup'd 0 Rx Pkts Late 0 Rx Pkts AuthFail 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Call 0 Rx Avg Jitter/Period 0 Rx Max Jitter/Call 0 Rx Max Jitter/Period 0
The call flow is like this: IX5000 > CUCM > CUCM-VCSe 1 Sip Trunk > VCSe 1> Traversal to VCSe 2 > VCSe 2 > Internet > SomeNumber@cisco.com
I have the following configuration for the Region:
Region Relationships
Region | Audio Codec Preference List | Maximum Audio Bit Rate | Maximum Session Bit Rate for Video Calls | Maximum Session Bit Rate for Immersive Video Calls |
---|---|---|---|---|
Video | Use System Default (Factory Default low loss) | 64 kbps (G.722, G.711) | 20000 kbps | 20000 kbps |
NOTE: Regions not displayed | Use System Default | Use System Default | Use System Default | Use System Default |
I have no bandwidth limitations on the VCS's. I also need to add that the opposite call, that is from the Cisco IX5000 to ours, works without a hitch. I tried both with having H.265 turned on and off, still does not work. On top of this, the IX will not show the CUCM directory, which includes all the 40 ish other systems that are registered to it, which works on all the other systems.
Where else should I look?! I am at lost with this issue...
Cheers,
Andre
