Maximum number of video streams

Hello,

CUCM 11.X with conductor and TP server 410v

How many video streams can we have in one conference ? I see that there is a layout 4x4 so I am assuming that the maximum video streams are 16. Can we have more ?

The rest of the participants are represented just as a number. For example if you have in total 24 participants we get 16 active video streams and the rest are displayed as +8

We have no option to see who is joining. How can we see the list of the participants from within the conference (not as an admin) ?

If there is no way to check will it help if we activate the iX protocol ? (active control)

The largest layout is 4x4, which will give you a total of 16 participants on the screen, a participant overflow icon to indicate when more participants are present in a conference than can be displayed.

There is no option to see who is joining on screen within the conference, but if the endpoint uses a TelePresence Touch and ActiveControl is enabled, than you can see a participant list on the touch panel.  You can enable audio join/leave indicators if you're running version 4.4(1.9) and later.
