Multi-Site Usage Detection

Greetings,

We are currently testing Multi-Site capabilities and have run into a potential issue. If we create a conference in TMS and an endpoint in that conference dials out to one or more additional endpoints and creates a multi-site connection, we have no way of knowing who is connected or even that a multi-site connection exists. Is there a way to detect such a connection on either Cisco Meeting Management, the Cisco Meeting Server, or on TMS? Thank you in advance!

Hello,

I think this information you will not get on CMM or CMS as its a endpoint feature you are using.

For CMS conference only that endpoint is in conference.

The best way is to use add participant feature from CMS (from CE9.8.0 release) In this CMS will dial out to those numbers and they will be visible on CMS.

For more details please see the below release notes under" Add participant to CMS conference from the device UI"

https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/software/ce9/release-notes/ce-software-release-notes-ce9.pdf

Thanks

As the multisite meeting doesn't hit your CMS at all, you won't be able to see it there, or on CMM.

You will be able to see it in TMS in the Conference Control Center, and see who is connected there.
