MX300 G2 very slow camera wake up - Spark Registered

MX300 G2 s/w OS 2018-01-11 00a0070 End point was working fine until recently, when receiving calls it takes 3 to 5 seconds for the camera to wake and assume the default camera position. This is now regular occurrence. I am not sure what triggers the camera to wake, but I have tried waving my arms and making noises but nothing seems to help it wake quicker. Calls will begin and far end users see the view from the camera as it points down and to the side (sleep state) for about 3 to 5 seconds before the camera wakes and resumes the default position.

Have you tried to reload the software or roll back to a previous version, if that's even possible with Spark registered endpoints? Have you tried a factory reset?
Because this is Spark registered, with the web interface and API locked down more so than an on-premise endpoint, might probably be best to contact TAC so they help determine if it's a software or hardware issue.
