Our Cisco 3470 VoiceGateway is terminated to an MCI voicegateway over the internet(uses FEthernet).
There are instances where the Session target is not Pinging perfectly (due to MCI gateway problem, or due to a bad internet connection).
In such cases i want to route my Voip traffic thru my backup serial interface automatically. How can i get this set-up.
Basically the router should ping the Session target at frequent intervals, and enable the second interface(Serial) if the Ping response is delayed/down for a few seconds.
Thank you.
