QOS for video calls

Hi,

I need to fine tune the QOS on a Point to Point link for video calls. Users are experiencing audio issues during VC call between site A and B. There is voice loss experienced at either ends. we are using cisco sx20, 80 and webex room kits.

I have the below QOS applied to WAN interface, plz let me know if i need to include any to make it more robust.

I am not sure, if the defined BW in policy-map needs to be adjusted for this purpose.

Link BW is 100 Mbps.

Policy Map P2P_VOIP
Class L3-to-L2_VoIP-RTP
priority 10000 (kbps)
Class L3-to-L2_VOIP-Cntrl
bandwidth 256 (kbps)
Class class-default
fair-queue

Class Map match-all L3-to-L2_VoIP-RTP (id 1)
Match ip dscp ef (46)

Class Map match-any class-default (id 0)
Match any

Class Map match-any L3-to-L2_VOIP-Cntrl (id 2)
Match ip dscp af31 (26)
Match ip dscp cs3 (24)

Thanks,

Sridhar

You're physical interface is running at 100 Mbps and you have all that bandwidth end-to-end (across WAN), correct?

You're doing QoS at both sites WAN interfaces?

You're sure all you audio real-time traffic is marked with DSCP EF?

Could you post output of show policy-map interface (whatever)?
