SX80 under ce 8.2.1 Final e9daf06 using TRC5 or TRC6

is it possible to disable the 10" touch device and use the standard remote control such as the TRC5 or TRC6 instead to operate the system on the SX80 with ce 8.2.1 installed ?

Remote control isn't supported, this is because the software running on the SX80 doesn't provide any type of interactive menu for use with a remote control, so it won't work. You must use the Touch 10 to control the SX80, the only other method is by means of some third-party control system such as Crestron or AMX.

You can disable the touch10 (if you are going to use some other form of external control), but you cannot use a remote control with the SX80.
