Hey Baris,
I am running CUCM 8.6 and have discovered a way to disable or ever customise the MIDlet directory. Hopefully your version can do the same.
The MIDlet gets its directory not from the phone settings but from the CTS Codec. On call manager under Device > Phone > {Your CTS Codec} there is an option "Alternate CUCM for Directory Lookup" If you simply want to disable the MIDlet directory you can enter a dummy address (i.e. 0.0.0.0) this will prevent the MIDlet from finding a directory.
Check out this link for info on creating custom directories Anthony Holloways post.

It is a lot of work but alternatively you can take advantage of the way this option works to point the unit to a web server that can host a customised directory. The directory is retrieved though a simple HTML request “Get http://192.168.0.1/ccmcip/xmldirectorylist.jsp” entering an ip address in the "Alternate CUCM for Directory Lookup" s swaps the ip address the MIDlet points to (i.e. if you enter “172.16.0.1” it will request “Get http://172.16.0.1/ccmcip/xmldirectorylist.jsp”) you could also enter “172.16.0.1/cucmdirectory” (“Get http:// 172.16.0.1/cucmdirectory/ccmcip/xmldirectorylist.jsp”)
The MIDlet is very fussy with directories and things such as menu items will not work, it will take some experimenting to get it right. I suggest testing with a simple directory like.
Good Luck.
