Hello
I am looking for a quick way to test access to my domain externally. I purchased Bria Softphone with the Video Add-on for my iPhone 5c. I signed up for a SIP account with SIP2SIP.info. I am able to register on WIFI and LTE. But when I try to call my Jabber Account or MCU on my corporate domain. I get a DNS Error. I also have a free Jabber account at jabber.com on my laptop. I am able to dial both my corporate jabber account and my corporate MCU with that free jabber account. So I am sure the DNS (A) and (SRV) records are being published. Aynone else used BRIA Video phone on an iPhone to call into a Cisco VCS environment?
Thanks
Mark

It is multiple parts:
DNS:
If you post your dns config or message me the domain we can easyly check if its set up is correct.
sip2sip:
not all sip services which aim for phone services support video or sip-tcp/sip-tls calls.
Also the default vcs seting is now to not have udp enabled, that can have an impact here.
bria
client the clietn might also have additional settings which change the behavior (like sending
calls directly, via a proxy, ...
If you want a quick look to see if it works in general
https://www.ciscojabbervideo.com/
can be an option as well ;-)

This may or may not relate to your issue, but when I first set up my internet facing VCS-E I could call in with Jabber OK, but when I used the Polycom soft client, I had to allow ICMP from the internet to the VCS-E through the internet facing firewall. Once this was enabled, the Polycom client could dial in OK.
The other thing to try is dialling both [name]@[VCS-E-IP] and [name]@[VSC-E-HOSTNAME]. If both of these work, I'd say that your other soft clients are having problems with SRV.
