TMS 13.2 – JAVA Problem

Hi all

I have TMS integrated with AD so users can browse to the TMS Web Site without having to enter credentials each time.

However each time a user want to go to the graphical monitor page the user is prompted for their user name and password.

Is this due the Java application?

We currently have Windows 7 and Java 7 Update 9 deployed on users machines.

Hi Haydn

The java application needs to be authenticated which is why you get the authentication prompt. What browsers are your users using in general is it IE? Is the Internet explorer configured to to automated logins using the current user credentials?

Do you also see this on Internet Explorer? It's not an issue as you have to authenticate the Java application but in order to get this login to automatically authenticate is a different story, someone else might have some experience on how to set up the java to automatically authenticate using the current credentials.

We are using IE 9 & 10

IE is set to allow windows authentication.

Would it have anything to do with the server?
