We have just upgraded to TMS 14.1.1, and since the upgrade - when scheduling audio calls to dial out as H320, we sometimes see that the dial protocol changes to SIP automatically, and the call fails.
I have also noticed that the "Conference Booking" page acts rather strange - in that it sometimes doesnt do anything when saving a new conference. The window just dissappears and you dont get confirmation of a Conference ID.
I cant find any bugs related to dial protocols for TMS 14.1.1.
Has anyone experienced these issues with 14.1.1...and if so, are you aware of any work-around?
Thanks

I have also encountered this issue using H320 dial out in a TMS scheduled call.
There is a workaround: you need to go to the Connection Settings tab while editing a conference in the Booking section of TMS (not available in the Conference Control Center). In the Call Alternatives column, the default drop down selection is a dial out with empty square brackets '[] -->'. If you select the drop down menu, you can instead choose '[H323-ISDN] -->' which will force it back to H.323 dialing.
This is calling out SIP most likely because of the new prioritzation choice of SIP for unknown addresses that was released with 14.1.0.
Can anyone from Cisco elaborate as to why H320 dial outs are defaulting to a blank call protocol choice?

Please be more specific... are we talking about trying to dial out through Gateways? What kind of device are you expecting the dial out from and what protocols are enabled for it?
I just tested with TMS v14.3.2 added a H320/ISDN external dial out participant to a telephone number to a call hosted by a bridge, and TMS routed the call as H323->ISDN through the Audio Prefix defined in the IP Zone assigned to the MCU.
If you are using a device that can only call SIP... and TMS infers interworking is available (registered to a VCS), then TMS will dial the same call via SIP and assume the network will interwork that to H323 for the gateway.
