TMS 14.2.2 Scheduled services stop working

Hello all!

So heres what I have going on:

TMS 14.2.2 schedules a "bridge call" 

Codian MSE 8510 is the MCU for the call.

When the scheduled time comes, the call does not start.  When we go and check, TMSschedulingservices is not running.  I go and turn it on and after about 15 minutes everything is back up and running.  This happens once or so a week, though it has gone 2 weeks between happeing in some cases.  Heres my question:

Why is this services shutting off in the first place?

Is there a way to stop this service from shutting down?

The service is set to auto start.

Any ideas?

Hi William,

I'm guessing you reported this to the Cisco TAC since I've seen some 'buzz' around this matter today. In any case, recommend you install the following hotfix to your server:

The hotfix can be downloaded here: http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=2640103

To check the hotfixes installed on a system can be listed by running this cmd: wmic qfe list brief /format:texttablewsys

Tip: Redirect the output to a file to search for specific hotfix numbers.

If you don't have this hotfix, then obviously I recommend you install it and then monitor appropriately. After installing the hotfix, it should take of this issue.
